Kiss & Zutell: My Husband's Obsessed with Jennifer Aniston!!!

Since my husband saw the film Horrible Bosses starring Jennifer Aniston, he's been obsessed with her. He always liked her, but she had some kind of makeover for that movie, and his admiration has morphed into I don't know what, but I do know it's wearing thin. He found out what clothes she wore in the movie and wants me to buy them. He's also hinted about me trying her hair style and color. I'm about ready to tell him to hit the road.

Sounds like your spouse has a raging case of CWS. That's Celebrity Worship Syndrome, and I kid you not, it's recognized by the psychology community as an actual form of nuttiness. I'm sorry, was that insensitive? I guess what I meant was, it's a new flavor of crazy.

Not only have those swingin' shrinks officially declared it a disorder, they've even divvied it up into three distinct sub-syndromes..

Below are the three levels of CWS. Which applies to your head-case, er husband?

1) Entertainment-Social

This is the most common variety, whereby the afflicted tends to limit his or her social circle to those who worship the same celebrity(s).

2) Intense Personal

When something bad happens to their celebrity, they actually feel their pain.

3) Borderline-Pathological (this one's my fave)

In this version, the afflicted is convinced he and the celebrity share a connection so strong and clear, the celeb would come to his rescue if he needed any type of help. (Picture Jennifer in body-suit, boots and a red cape, flying your husband out of a burning building).

In all likelihood, your husband may not be obsessed with Jennifer Aniston but with the character she played in the film - a hyper aggressive sexual predator. And a hot, leggy, toned one at that. What male doesn't want that girl for Christmas?

Maybe you should consider copying her hairdo and Jennifer's stilettos. What's the downside?
