Brush Up On Recent Events

Maybe you're someone that only flips on the news to find out the latest winning lottery numbers. But when you're dating, you need to be able to talk about a variety of topics. So brush up on things that are happening in our world in case the subject comes up. You don't need to be able to debate an issue, but you should have enough information about it to converse intelligently.

Things to brush up on include:

National news stories.
Highlights of local news.
Celebrity news.
Great feature stories.

If this sounds like homework, relax! Log on to your favorite news site online and spend a few minutes before your date reading up on things that made headlines that day. This should cover the basics of what may come up during your date.
