What a wonderful thing it is to see people other than football fans or Wisconsinites get to know a little bit about Donald Driver. His latest stint (and win!) on Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) means that more folks got to see that competitive spirit and big smile every week, but here are five things you probably didn't know about him.
Driver is the spokesperson for Goodwill Industries, and has won numerous awards for community service, including the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2002. The award is the only one given by the NFL that "recognizes a player's off-the-field community service as well as his playing excellence."
Speaking of the NFL, Driver also has a Super Bowl ring from the Packers win in XLV. When asked where he was going to put the DWTS Mirror-Ball Trophy, he said, "Right on my mantle, next to the Lombardi Trophy!!!"
