Brad Pitt courtship: 1987 to 1988
Actress Shalane McCall – who played Charlotte "Charlie" Wade on "Dallas" from 1983 to 1988 – met Brad Pitt when he appeared on the show about the wealthy Ewing family. Here the two attend a 1988 Valentine's Day gala for kids with serious illnesses. McCall, who got married at 17, left Hollywood and, by at least some accounts, became a librarian.
