I am so sorry if the names above the picture offended you. I simply listed the people in the picture following the normal left-to-right convention. I admire all the singers who performed at the inauguration, and I am the proud mother of two smart, strong girls.

I am absolutely appalled by the gendered presentation of this slideshow, especially coming from a website centered around families. Was Jay-Z really the star of the show with "his wife, Beyonce" tagging along to sing THE NATIONAL ANTHEM at the PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION? I'm sorry, I didn't realize that Jay-Z standing in front of a camera with his arm candy was more important than mentioning that "Beyonce sang the national anthem" (presented at the end of the caption). Does anyone really know Brandon Blackstock better than "his financee, singer Kelly Clarkson" (if at all)? I am awestruck by the misogyny evident in this slideshow.
