Frances Bean Cobain, now 19, famously chose to live with her paternal grandmother and aunt instead of with her mother, singer Courtney Love. (Her dad, Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain, committed suicide in 1994.) A judge agreed with the teen’s decision. The mom and daughter remain estranged. (When Frances Bean Cobain turned 18, Love’s tweets included “why would you leave me and my life in tatters like this…”) Here the two appear together at a 2006 premiere.
