With more than 300 National Guardsmen on hand, tens of thousands of Elvis Presley fans viewed the 42-year-old "King" in his casket at his Graceland home on August 17, 1977. His "Viva Las Vegas" co-star Ann-Margret was among the mourners who attended his funeral the next day.
