“Trading Places” and “A Fish Called Wanda” actress Jamie Lee Curtis, 53, is one of the few celebrities who writes children’s picture books that critics like. (Though it doesn’t answer its whimsical question, Where Do Balloons Go? is a fun story.) Curtis is the daughter of actor Tony Curtis and actress Janet Leigh, the mother of two adopted children, and the wife of “This Is Spinal Tap” actor Christopher Guest.
