Former teacher Jon Scieszka, 57, is best known for stories such as The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs (told from the wolf’s point of view) He also founded the get-boys-to-love-books nonprofit Guys Read – and became the nation’s first National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature.
