I'm Truly Sorry

A great apology is a rare thing, so saying you're sorry the right way help your spouse feel cared about and valued. To really make an apology memorable:

  • Make eye contact.
  • Use a sincere tone of voice.
  • Say the words "I'm sorry."
  • Don't use the time to explain "your side" of things.
  • Give your spouse time to respond and accept your apology.
