We talked about the TV characters that give midlifers a bad name, but what those we love? Here are a few of our favorite television characters that represent midlife in a positive way.

Hot in Cleveland

It's hard to pick just one character from Hot In Cleveland that shows how much midlife can rock, because all four of the main characters are positive in their own way.

Elka (played by Betty White) shows us not to fear our senior years, Joy (played by Jane Leeves) shows us that your best physical features (like her incredible legs) still get noticed on a regular basis in midlife, Victoria (played by Wendie Malick) shows us that you can reinvent your career in midlife, and Melanie (played by Valerie Bertinelli) lets us know that moving on from a cheating husband can be the best thing you ever did.

What's even better is that the guest stars on the show are some of the most popular midlifers from our favorite shows all of time.
