Gabby’s other fans include her two older sisters, her older brother, her host family in West Des Moines (where she trains), and 2008 Olympian Shawn Johnson. (The gymnasts trained with the same coach.) Her dad is stationed in Afghanistan, where he is an Air National Guard staff sergeant, so he could not watch the Olympics in person.
