Place Notes in a Jar of What You're Thankful For

Have everyone write down what they're thankful for on a pretty piece of paper. Fold each piece, and place them in a jar or pretty box. Then, have one person read each one by one. This can make the individual thoughts come together nicely and almost seem like poetry. It's great way to start off a meal that is meant to celebrate gratefulness.

After dinner, give the box to a guest to take home so they can read the notes any time they need an emotional lift.
