Forget the Beach Boys. Today Katy Perry, 25, is the one crooning about "California Gurls." The pastor's daughter is a cheery, gung-ho type who dressed in a cheerleader uniform for the "Teen Choice Awards" this month. She credits her unusual fiancé, the British comedian and actor Russell Brand, with inspiring many of the songs in her "Teenage Dream" album. In case Perry still isn't ringing a bell with you, you may recall your kids singing "Hot N Cold" and "I Kissed a Girl."
