Actor William Mapother and actor Tom Cruise (born Thomas Cruise Mapother IV) are first cousins. Mapother played Ethan Rom on the TV series "Lost" and also appeared (with Cruise) in "Mission: Impossible II," "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Magnolia."
