Avoid the Temptation to Compare Notes
Just because you're experimenting with different ways to meet people doesn't mean you should share your tips with your kids. You might find that having a lunch date is a great way to meet someone or that speed dates are a blast, but tell your friends these bits of insight instead.
It's not that your kids don't want you to be happy or to find love, it's that you don't know what the singles life is like from their perspective.
