Try to Date People Your Own Age
Sure, being a cougar is great if that's what you're into, but when your kids are dating the same people you are, it gets weird. When you're out with your adult child and see a potential single guy, for example, avoid saying things like, "Is he for you or me?"
Ick.
Some midlifers find it empowering to date younger people, and if that's you, great. But show some respect for your children and stay out of their potential date pool as much as you can.
